My name is Laura and I've spent my career in and around creative work; architecture, design research, innovation strategist, foresight practitioner, and now career coach. The through-line has always been the same: helping people and teams create new possibilities for the future.

Most recently, I spent over a decade leading hundreds of innovation workshops as well as leading the trends and intelligence work for a $7B consumer goods company. I also led an internal learning and development program created to support designers in learning the skills not taught in design school: leading and managing creative teams, the dynamics of presentations as well as how to navigate creative careers. Designing and teaching the curriculum for “Navigating your Creative Career” led me here.

I founded Creative Career Studio in 2025, a coaching practice for creative professionals at career inflection points, helping people work with uncertainty and design new directions for what comes next.  An architect by education and a longtime graphic recorder, I bring a designer's mindset to coaching, helping visualize thought and make ideas visual so they can become tangible and actionable.
