ABOUT ME

My name is Laura and I've spent my in and around creative work as an architect, researcher, an innovation strategist, a futures practitioner, and now a coach. At Newell Brands, I spent over a decade leading hundreds of innovation workshops as well as leading the trends and intelligence work for the $7B consumer goods company. While at Newell, I also led the Newell Brands Design Institute, an internal learning and development program within our design function created to support designers in learning how to lead and manage creative teams as well as how to navigate their creative careers. Designing and teaching the curriculum for “Navigating your Creative Career” led me here.

I founded Creative Career Studio in 2025, a coaching practice for creative professionals at career inflection points, helping people work with uncertainty and design what comes next.  An architect by training and a longtime graphic recorder, I bring a designer's eye to coaching, helping visualize thought and ideas visual, so they can become tangible and actionable.
